Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices is highly desirable
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working in the food industry will be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
