Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
- Support food handling procedures following safety and hygiene standards
- Help with organizing supplies and ingredients for efficient kitchen workflow
- Ensure proper storage of food items and dispose of waste appropriately
- Assist with serving food to guests or customers when needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Support the team during busy periods by performing various tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory
