Duties

- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, repairing electrical wiring, and maintaining HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures, following safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support efficient operations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues swiftly and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or inspections when necessary.
- Ensure all safety standards and regulations are adhered to during maintenance activities to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or related fields with a strong understanding of building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, carpentry, and basic mechanical skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping and task management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Good communication skills to clearly report issues and coordinate with team members or vendors.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and performing manual tasks.
