Position Overview
The Live-In Motel Manager will be responsible for the overall management, operation, and performance of the motel. The successful candidate(s) will ensure exceptional guest service, maintain property standards, and oversee financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day motel operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Monitor room inventory, reservations, and occupancy levels.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with budgeting, payroll, purchasing, and cost control.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate regularly with ownership.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and applicable legislation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel, motel, hospitality, or property management preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Basic computer skills, including reservation and property management systems.
- Maintenance, housekeeping, or accounting experience is considered an asset.
