You will demonstrate knowledge of and experience with software tools to create, edit, and analyze complex reports, graphs, and presentations as well as be able make sound decisions and possess the ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information. The Retail analyst will independently take ownership of projects to completion by effectively coordinating all the necessary resources, and resolve complex, non-routine problems and issues where no precedent has been established or exists with little or no supervision.

What You’ll Do:
Utilizing various data systems, extracts raw data from the reporting system and conducts an in-depth analysis of customer product flow.

Extract data from third-party market research resources, integrate with internal data and conduct trend analysis.

Works closely with business partners to develop report specifications based on client needs.

Manages ad hoc projects based on a business partner or client requests.

Pro-actively develops and delivers presentations as required by the client.

Provides detailed analysis of client reports.

Ability to review data and make recommendations to the company and the client on retail strategy.

Qualifications:
(Required): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

(Preferred): Experience in Business Analytics

(Preferred): Familiarity with analytics tools (Nielsen, IRI, etc.)

3+ years of experience in an analytical position

Analytical and Research Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Position Summary

Support a designated retail team(s) to make discernible differences across the operations with accurate and insightful data analysis. Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with software tools to create, edit, and analyze complex reports, graphs, and presentations. Be able to make sound decisions and the ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Extracts data from third-party market research resources, integrates with internal data and conducts trend analysis. Interprets results and presents recommendations to business leader.

Works closely with business partners to develop report specifications based on client needs.

Manages ad hoc projects based on business partner or client requests.

Pro-actively develops and delivers presentations as required by client.

Provides detailed analysis for client reports. Ability to review data and make recommendations to the Company and the client on retail strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

Fluently biligual required

Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Analytics

5+ years of experience in an analytical position

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
