Job Description:
CNG Insulation and Drywall is seeking a skilled and experienced Drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
- Secure drywall sheets with screws, nails, or adhesive.
- Prepare drywall for finishing, including joint taping, sanding, and texturing.
- Apply corner beads and drywall compounds to seams and corners.
- Perform drywall patching and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in drywall installation.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall.
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications.
- Good physical condition, able to lift heavy materials, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
