SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Under supervision and within the policies and procedures of the RCM and under the supervision of the Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. This individual will also be writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems. The QA Specialist will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science or Business (with information technology courses) or Information Technology Diploma or equivalent experience - Minimum of five (5) years of experience encompassing all aspects of QA for software development, including but not limited to writing test plans, translating requirements to test scripts, executing test scripts and communicating results;
Extensive hands-on and functional experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 is required;
Extensive hands-on and functional experience in web content management systems (Oracle ATG Business Control Centre) is required;
Extensive experience and understanding in system integrations such as, sales tax calculators, payment processors, and E-Commerce;
Extensive experience and understanding of business processes specifically in Order to Cash, Finance, Procure to Pay and Shipping;
Experience and understanding of DevOps;
Must be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in authoring and reviewing project documentation including; business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, system workflow diagrams, and test scripts.

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite specifically word and excel;
Demonstrated proficiency in Business application issue tracking software such as Footprints and JIRA;
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing automated testing tools;
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning concepts and application (specifically in Software Development Life Cycle [SDLC]);
High-level knowledge of formal requirements gathering techniques and documentation.
