Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support student recruitment and manage the admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle a high volume of inquiries, and a results-driven mindset. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with prospective students, guiding them through decisions, and ensuring a smooth admissions experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to prospective student inquiries (phone, email, online) in a timely and professional manner
- Guide applicants through the full admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective students to support conversion and enrollment
- Provide accurate program information, schedules, and admission requirements
- Support recruitment initiatives such as info sessions and outreach activities
- Maintain accurate student records and admissions documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams (academics, placement) to support student onboarding
- Assist with placement coordination and required documentation
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions, student services, sales, or education environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and inquiries
- Comfortable with follow-ups and working toward enrollment targets
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Candidates with experience in a college, private career college, or student-facing environment will be given priority.
Compensation
Base salary of $40,000 - $48,000 per year
Performance-based commission based on overall performance, with a focus on student enrollments.
