Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various residential or commercial spaces. Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The Housekeeper position is essential in ensuring our clients’ spaces are hygienic, organized, and comfortable.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Change linens, make beds, and tidy up rooms to meet quality standards
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to detail
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is desirable
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of daily responsibilities
