Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Help with serving food to customers or guests efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations, including proper storage of ingredients and disposal of waste
- Support the team during meal service periods by managing supplies and ensuring smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking processes
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
