Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing of transactions
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and provide exceptional guest services
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for order calculations and cash handling accurately
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
