Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong retail deduction experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a fast learner, highly organized, and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle Accounts Receivable functions, including collections, cash application, deductions management, reconciliations, and customer account maintenance.
- Manage collections for assigned customer accounts, with a focus on retail accounts.
- Investigate and resolve customer deductions including rebates, shortages, pricing discrepancies, non-compliance fines, and promotional programs.
- Request and review supporting documentation including BOLs and PODs.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve account issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve customer concerns.
- Assist with customer setup, account reconciliations, and month-end support.
- Prepare customer account statements and support audits and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable, credit, and collections experience.
- Experience with major retailers/customer portals
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
- Fast learner with strong computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- CCP designation or progress toward completion is an asset.
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
