IT Support Technician
About the Role
Are you passionate about technology and dedicated to delivering excellent client service? VINCOVI is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, resolving a range of issues from desktop to server-level problems, and participating in various IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on-site and remotely, assisting with issues related to desktops, printers, software, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Document all work completed using our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping.
- Assist in the maintenance and support of Windows-based systems and client/server networks.
- Monitor backup systems and assist in maintaining logs.
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, maintaining an organized knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in setting up and configuring computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install and update software applications, ensuring they meet the company's standards and client requirements.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues, providing support via phone, email, or in person.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and who takes pride in delivering timely and accurate results.
Our successful candidate will also have:
- Up to 2 years' experience in IT support or a related field.
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and networking concepts.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the IT field.
- Great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a Class 5 driver's license.
