Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair are highly valued.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to deliver materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris to designated locations
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo while following all safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries
- Assist with the operation of other heavy equipment
- Conduct minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules or operational concerns
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (AZ) or (DZ)with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment
- basic mechanical troubleshooting is preferred
- Ability to operate industrial machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Good communication skills

Pay: $26.59-$31.50 per hour
