We are currently looking for a Sales Analyst
in our Canadian Headquarters in Ajax, Ontario

As a Sales Analyst, you will play a key role in providing the sales team with a deep understanding of market trends and competitive factors to support our short- and long-term planning as well as supporting the development of our incentive activities. As Audi Canada grows its model lineup and expands into new market segments, this role is vital to have a strong understanding of market conditions to ensure proper strategic planning, leading to proper allocation of product and sales incentives.

Reporting to the Manager, Sales Planning & Distribution, you will be responsible for centralizing key national initiatives, the development of national reporting/KPI development, supporting the development of action plans to ensure all models achieve their sales/inventory objective. You will also be responsible for coordinating the Dealer BPO process as well as our long-term planning initiatives with AUDI AG, which includes creating and growing a network of market data from internal and third party sources.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage, improve and distribute all Audi monthly sales, market sales, segmentation and importation reports as well as the monthly business review presentations
Provide the support to the Incentives Manager enabling strategic recommendations for new vehicle sales programs to Audi Canada Brand and Sales Management through analysis of market conditions, sales trends and effectiveness of Audi and competitor incentive campaigns.
Provide Marketing Department with program offers for Audi.ca and advertising purposes and ensure payment estimator and special offer pages are correctly and accurately activated.
Detailed analysis of the Volkswagen Group sales forecast & Canadian third party forecasts to determine risk and opportunity in the marketplace as it relates to long term production planning
Develop and maintain a Seasonally Adjusted Annualized Rate (SAAR) for the import high group in Canada.
Collect, distribute and store all sales data and information to ensure readily available for review and use in future analysis
Analysis of industry sales results to determine performance levels of each car line in each Canadian region to support the possible creation of incentive programs.
Working with other key stakeholders (Product, Audi AG, Sale Dept), support the development of our long-term sales plans utilizing key tools and programming within the sales department
Assist in the creation of all AC meeting presentations, opportunity plans and planning round documents
Align and prepare all volume planning and reporting with Group forecasts by segment while also incorporating AUDI AG input and premise guidance into all volumes planning
Develop and continually enhance efficiency of reporting, presentation and reporting templates by establishing repeatable and interchangeable formats
Liaise with industry representatives such as DesRosiers, Autodata, AIAMC, ALG, POLK, Maritz, GFK and Canadian Blackbook to acquire required data inputs for preparation of programs, reports, and/or presentations
Qualifications

What we’re asking for:
Bachelor Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a similar field
A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
2-5 years of related work experience preferred (marketing & sales). University graduates with strong analytical skills and a business degree background may also be considered.
Proven success in conceptual thinking, both strategic and creative; and problem-solving, both identifying and overcoming
Partners at all levels of the organization, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
Excellent communication, interpersonal, written and presentation skills; Fluency in French an asset
Proven track record in analytical thinking—using logic and reason, turning data into actionable understanding
A creator mindset, thriving in building solutions, not maintaining the existing
Results-driven with a customer-focus and detail- and process-orientation
Take ownership and responsibility while also being a collaborator; experience in integration—joining people, processes or systems
An aptitude for all things automotive and fascination in finding and explaining truths in volumes of data is considered an asset
Advanced computer skills—highly skilled in the use of spreadsheet and presentation software
Flexibility for overtime as required
