We are currently looking for an experienced Dental Assistant (Level II) to join our growing team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in dental assisting and be proficient in providing chairside support to the dentist during clinical procedures. As an integral member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring friendly, efficient and high-quality dental care delivery.

The Role:
- Assist the principal dentist during dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, surgical treatments as well as clear aligner therapy.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization according to infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and process diagnostic images as directed by the dentist.
- Take intra oral scans (iTero)
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of vision.
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory and stock supplies to ensure adequate levels for clinical operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and coordinating patient treatment plans.
The Skills:
- Previous experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting is required.
- Completion of a recognized dental assisting program and/or certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting, sterilization, and dental radiography.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment protocols.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team.
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
- CPR certification and current immunizations required.
