Mezza Stratford is Hiring!
We're looking for an awesome person to join our evening crew at Mezza Stratford!
Our biggest need right now is someone who can commit to 4–5 closing shifts each week, AND can start their shift at 2 or 3 pm. We close at 10, and the 30-45 minutes up closing duties. We have some flexibility on which days you work, but Friday and Saturday evenings are required.
Pay starts at $17.25/hour, plus tips.
We're also hoping to find someone who is interested in growing with us. If you're motivated, dependable, and looking for more than "just a job," there is an opportunity to develop into a leadership role over time.
At Mezza, we care a lot less about having a "perfect résumé" and a lot more about finding kind humans with good energy.
We can teach people how to make shawarma.
We can't teach people how to genuinely care about others.
Our restaurant is busy, fast-paced, sometimes chaotic, and full of people just trying to have a good day—guests and staff included.
We want people who smile at customers, help teammates without being asked, notice when someone looks overwhelmed, and believe kindness actually matters.
Some days you'll be rolling wraps at lightning speed.
Some days you'll make someone's entire day just by being genuinely kind.
Both matter here.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming every guest with a smile.
- Taking orders and helping guests navigate the menu.
- Preparing fresh food while maintaining high quality standards.
- Keeping the restaurant clean, stocked, and organized.
- Making sure every closing shift leaves the restaurant ready for the next day.
- Working closely with a supportive team to keep everything running smoothly.
- Helping create the kind of atmosphere people actually want to come back to.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, confident, and trustworthy.

- Someone who takes pride in their work and notices the little things.
- Team players who naturally jump in to help.
- Someone who stays organized and works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone who enjoys taking ownership and doing things the right way—even when no one is watching.
- Ability to work efficiently during evenings when there may only be two people on shift.
- Customer service or restaurant experience is a bonus—but definitely not required.
This isn't the kind of job where people stand around waiting to be told what to do.
We all help each other here.
When there are only two people working, everyone pitches in, communicates, and takes ownership to make sure our guests have a great experience and the restaurant is left in excellent shape at the end of the night.
