Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 309A Licensed Electrician or a 5th Term Electrical Apprentice with experience to join our team on a full-time basis. The candidate will work on a variety of new construction and commercial maintenance projects, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, test and repair electrical systems in commercial settings
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Install conduit systems (EMT, PVC)
- Pull, route and terminate wiring for power and control systems
- Install panels, switchgear, breakers, and safety components
- Install and maintain lighting and control systems
- Perform equipment connections and motor controls
- Travel to job sites as required, picking up material as requested
- Oversee training of electrical apprentices
- Ensure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and clients
Requirements
- Experience/Strong knowledge in industrial and/or commercial electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift equipment/materials and perform physically demanding work when required

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
