Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pack products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Build and assemble packaging materials as needed.
- Load and unload products from trucks or pallets, ensuring safe handling practices.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment for order pickin
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of packing materials and equipment to ensure functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in order picking and packing techniques.
- Experience with heavy lifting and the operation of cranes or other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing orders for shipment.
