Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times
- Support kitchen staff in cooking, plating, and serving dishes efficiently
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and workstations are clean, sanitized, and well-organized
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying management of shortages
- Maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent service to customers when serving or interacting directly with guests
- Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely delivery of meals
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling best practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Previous kitchen experience or work in the food industry demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
Pay: $16.00 per hour
