LXS Vanlines is an established long-distance and cross-border moving carrier serving clients throughout Canada and the U.S. As we grow our West Coast operations, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AZ Driver & Warehouse Manager to manage daily warehouse activities, organize freight, and operate a straight truck for LTL pickups.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organization, and is comfortable balancing both warehouse and driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming LTL freight in the warehouse
- Handle household furniture, including wrapping, padding, and protecting items
- Create wooden crates for items requiring additional protection
- Stage shipments and load them into long-distance trailers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Track inventory and update shipment logs
Driving Duties
- Operate a straight truck for LTL pickups around Greater Vancouver
- Safely load, secure, and transport freight
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure paperwork and delivery documents are completed accurately
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and dock staff
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record (air brake endorsement an asset)
- Experience with LTL pickups, dock operations, or freight handling (preferred)
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs)
- Experience loading furniture and/or household goods is an asset
- Knowledge of warehouse organization, palletizing, and using basic tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
