Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide seamless check-in experience using efficient front desk procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring swift resolutions.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls accurately and courteously.
- Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and billing information through hotel management software.
- Required to be aware of all daily activities, meetings and events taking place in the hotel
- Assists in pre-registration and blocking rooms for reservations
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and empathetically.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including the use of multi-line phone systems and reservation software.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Opera, telephones, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Previous customer service experience and hospitality experience
- Must be able to work well with minimal supervision and be a team player
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items (approx. 25lbs)
- Flexibility in scheduling a must
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
