Now Hiring: Service Rig Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, safety-driven Rig Manager to lead our Alberta service rig operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily rig activities, leading field crews, ensuring compliance with Alberta regulations and client requirements, and delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality well servicing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all service rig operations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
- Plan and coordinate daily operations to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Conduct safety meetings, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses.
- Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and accountability.
- Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Complete and maintain accurate daily reports, tour sheets, and operational documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, field supervisors, dispatch, and management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to support continuous improvement.
- Respond effectively to operational challenges while maintaining safety and service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of service rig experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
- Previous experience as a Rig Manager or Driller is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of well servicing operations and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in demanding outdoor environments and rotational schedules.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
Required Certifications
- Valid Alberta driver's license (Class 5 minimum; Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset)
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid with CPR
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- WHMIS
- Well Service Blowout Prevention (BOP)
- Fall Protection
- Any additional client-required safety certifications
