Overview
The Vice President of Finance is part of our leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The VP of Finance will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic financial guidance, and play a key role in driving the company’s growth and profitability.

2. Core Duties
· Lead the finance department and manage a small team of accounting and finance professionals
· Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the finance team
· Responsible for the finance team’s performance, employee development, employee engagement, annual reviews and accountability
· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall business
objectives
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning
· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership
· Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and treasury functions
· Ensure compliance with Canadian financial regulations, tax laws (CRA), and GAAP/IFRS
· Support strategic initiatives including mergers & acquisitions, capital investments, and business planning
· Work closely with operational leaders to analyze costs, improve margins, and drive efficiency
· Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors=
Qualifications:
· CPA designation (CPA Ontario)
· 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
· Experience working in a small to mid-sized company environment (ideal)
· Strong knowledge of Canadian tax, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
· Proven ability to think strategically while maintaining hands-on execution
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and advanced Excel
· Experience with ERP systems is an asset

Pay: $140,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
