To continue our growth and success, the company requires the services of a Loader Operator/Yard Attendant to work out of our Fredericton location.
The duties of the position will include:
- Ensuring the concrete batch plant is operating efficiently at all times.
- Providing basic maintenance/greasing of the plant and loader.
- Spotting and identifying any major repairs to the loader/plant that may be required.
- Ensuring the aggregate bins are full at all times.
- Operating a front-end loader.
- Maintaining the yard, including general cleanup, snow removal, upkeep of the shop, and similar tasks.
- Stripping, organizing blocks and assisting in pouring them throughout the day.
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Well organized, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating a front-end loader.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.
- Demonstrated history of punctuality and strong work performance.

Experience:
- Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (preferred)
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
