Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves constructing, assembling, and repairing steel components for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess adequate welding skills, mechanical knowledge. This position offers an opportunity to work locally in a controlled environment focused on quality craftsmanship.
Duties
- Read and interpret basic instructions
- Operate MIG welding equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as drill presses, bandsaws, chop saws and other smaller powered hand tools.
- Spray painting.
- Conduct mechanical assembly of fabricated parts according to specifications
- Measure materials accurately with measuring devices and other devices to ensure precision
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment and working in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist in packaging and preparing tools for shipping.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to steel fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to operate multiple power tools in a safe manner.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $27.50-$37.50 per hour
