Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
This is an older and established practice with longstanding patients and staff.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience with digital radiographs preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
