My Place Bar and Grill is a trendy,casual restaurant and bar with an upscale feel.Our menu is eclectic and made up of dishes from around the world prepared with care by actual chefs.When you pull into the plaza and drive up to the front of the restaurant don't be fooled by the facade because you will be surprised ounce you walk through our doors!
Oversee and guide all My Place back-of-the-house staff.
Maintain high levels of product quality,consistency and general all around cleanliness.
Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction.
Control inventory and product ordering by maintaining order sheets and par levels and work with suppliers for the best deals.
Monitor and update menu items on a regular basis to make sure it remains interesting.
Hiring,training and development of back-of-the-house staff.
Manage food and labour costs.
Efectively communicate with front of house management and staff.
40-48 hours per week.
Every other week 3 days off.
Must be able to balance weekly schedule based on business needs.
Must be able to adjust hours for administrative,social,or other needs outside normal business hours.
Salary based on experience.
Health benefits and paid vacation time.
Diploma in Culinary or Hospitality Management is an asset.
Red Seal Certification is an asset.
Food Handler's Certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a similar position is required.
This is a working chef position.
