Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed using Kroll pharmacy software system
- Pharmacy Assistant support is provided during store operating hours
- Maintain all records and documentations required in accordance to provincial legislation, standards of practice and policies governed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Provide timely professional services: Vaccinations, Medscheck, Minor Ailments Prescribing, Pharmaceutical Opinions
- Provide quality patient counselling on prescription and over-the-counter products
- Practice with client-oriented and professional manners. Provide timely and positive resolutions to client needs and requests from other health care providers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensed Part A Pharmacist with Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
- Newly graduated Pharmacists waiting on OCP licensure will be considered. Start date is negotiable
- Canadian working experience as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting
- Injection and Minor Ailments Trained
- Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Software System
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Store Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 6:30pm (No Evenings)
Saturday: 10am to 3pm
Sundays and Statutory Holidays: Closed
Expected Hours of Work: 27 to 32 hours per week
Schedule: Day Shifts (No Evenings) ; Weekend Shifts (As Required)
