Duties
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and rapport from the first interaction
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues to facilitate efficient repairs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, emphasizing benefits and available options to encourage upselling of additional services
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts while maintaining accountability
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or questions
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, sales, and customer interactions for reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a automotive service environment is highly preferred
- preferred mechanical knowledge or experience to understand vehicle repairs and diagnostics
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently
- Proven sales ability
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, parts, and service recommendations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
