The IT Officer is responsible for the design, maintenance, deployment, and support of the Sunrise Credit Union network, while providing help desk support to local and remote users. This includes installation, configuration, administration and support of all computing and communication infrastructure in a timely and efficient manner. The IT Officer acts as a bridge between technology and business needs by evaluating new and existing software products and researching vendor products to determine those which best meet organizational needs. The IT Officer assists with operational issues associated with banking system software and related systems and applies sound judgment to make decisions aligned with managerial practice and credit union policy.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Grade 12 education
Post-Secondary education preferred. A+ and or Microsoft certification would be an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft and other software products as they pertain to the Credit Union with expertise in deploying, building, designing, optimizing, and operating implementations of Windows Server 2008/2012 & Exchange Server 2010 (or newer versions) and Windows 7/10 technologies as well as Microsoft Office Suite 2010, Backup software and Cisco Voip Technology.
