Position Overview
As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a dual role in both patient care coordination and front desk reception. You’ll be responsible for front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient, while also supporting the naturopathic doctors with basic clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
- Collect payments and manage insurance billing support
- Assist with inventory management of supplements and medical supplies
- Perform light clinical duties such as taking vitals, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting the doctor when needed
- Uphold a clean, calm, and professional environment at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or wellness front desk role preferred
- Knowledge of naturopathic or holistic medicine is an asset
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, empathetic, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
