Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roller Operator / Skidsteer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as rollers and skid steers to assist in paving, concrete placement, and site preparation. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress, high-quality finishes, and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Operate roller compactors and skid steer loaders with precision to prepare surfaces for paving and concrete work
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing processes to achieve smooth, durable surfaces
- Support paving operations by managing equipment used in asphalt placement and compaction
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy machinery and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as rollers and skid steers.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Prior experience working on commercial or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Must have valid Class5 license

Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $22.09-$36.42 per hour
Expected hours: 44 – 60 per week
