Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Real Estate matters, a strong background in real estate research and analysis, with the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of real estate market laws in Canada.
- Assist in the negotiation of real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, and dispositions
- Conduct due diligence on potential real estate investments, including reviewing legal documents and conducting property inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of strategic plans for real estate transactions.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations
Experience:
- Bachelor's Law degree
- Proven experience in real estate transactions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents.
- Proficiency in conducting market research and utilizing industry databases such as Lexis-Nexis
- Knowledge of legal drafting and contract negotiation principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
