Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in concrete work, and proficiency with construction management software. The Concrete Foreman will play a vital role in coordinating project activities, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate concrete forming activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards.
- Lead and manage a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure concrete work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Manage project budgets related to labor, materials, and equipment to stay within financial parameters.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site at all times.
- Assist with construction estimating tasks by reviewing schematics and project plans for resource planning.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in concrete
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately.
- Experience with quality control procedures in a construction environment.
- Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to concrete work and general construction sites.
- Construction estimating experience is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to lead significant projects within a dynamic construction environment while utilizing advanced management tools to ensure success.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
