Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently to ensure smooth seating flow
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery and quality service
- Serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, attentiveness, and professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, including setting tables and ensuring all stations are well-stocked
- Handle guest inquiries courteously over the phone and in person, providing detailed information about menu items and specials
- Process payments accurately using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and bar team to deliver a cohesive dining experience
- Uphold all safety standards, including proper alcohol service protocols and hygiene practices
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest services
- Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with hotel or restaurant POS is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills that foster positive guest interactions
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food presentation, and beverage preparation
- Basic understanding of hospitality standards, including alcohol service regulations and health safety protocols
