Join Honomobo Manufacturing as a HVAC Technician in Canada. In this vital role based in our facility, you will ensure the optimal operation of HVAC systems that support our innovative modular homes, contributing to our mission of sustainable construction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Build and fabricate sheet metal transitions and fittings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with the construction and maintenance teams to support project timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Document service activities and update schematics as needed.
- Assist in training team members on refrigeration system operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC systems.
- Heat pump installation and service experience.
- Duct work installation and sizing experience.
- ERV/HRV installation experience.
- start up and commissioning of heat pumps
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
- Prior experience in construction or manufacturing environments is a plus.
