Stellar Health is looking for an experienced Medical Biller with strong knowledge of BC physician billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage physician billing for Family Practice and Specialists
- Handle LFP billing, including regular LFP and Locum LFP billing
- Submit and reconcile MSP claims
- Review rejected/refused claims and complete resubmissions
- Track outstanding claims and follow up on payment discrepancies
- Ensure billing is accurate, timely, and compliant with current billing requirements
- Work closely with physicians and clinic management to resolve billing issues
Requirements
- Previous experience with BC physician/MSP billing
- Strong understanding of LFP and Locum LFP billing
- Experience with both Family Physician and Specialist billing
- Knowledge of billing codes, claim submissions, rejections, and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple physicians’ billing
Previous hands-on experience with LFP billing is strongly preferred.
