Job Overview:
Fast Track Contracting Ltd. is a growing telecommunications service provider, specializing in the fiber optic industry. Our team is always striving to aim for the highest level of quality and efficiency. FTC is looking for a full-time warehouse/delivery person for Edmonton and surrounding area deliveries. This position would combine warehouse work with product delivery to and from warehouse/ job sites. We are looking for a reliable, responsible and hard-working person to join our team. We are looking for an employee to work Monday to Friday 730AM to 4PM with a clean drivers abstract, clean criminal record and good driving habits.
The team member would be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle in the transportation of materials to job sites. Would also be required to assist with onsite delivery requiring physical labor in all weather conditions. Warehouse stocking duties will consist of receiving material deliveries, organizing materials and tools, keeping logs.
Duties would include:
- Warehouse Inventory
- Warehouse Organization / Cleanliness
- Tool / Equipment Maintenance
- Fleet Vehicle Cleanliness and Organization
- Material Deliveries to Job sites
- Removal of materials from job sites
- Garbage and Cardboard Disposal
- Log Paperwork
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is required for driving responsibilities.
- Heavy Lifting Required
- Communication Skills Required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily tasks.
- Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and deliveries.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
