Fence Installer Job Summary
Ontario Provincial Fence is looking for Fence Installers to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. Our ideal candidate has held some construction and carpentry positions, whether in fence installation or a similar field. Experience in welding, wood manufacturing, vinyl manufacturing, or concrete work is a plus, as is formal training in any related discipline. You must have excellent dexterity, physical strength and stamina to keep up with this work. While this is not a supervisor role, experience managing crews is an asset. Professional demeanor when dealing with customers.
Fence Installer Duties and Responsibilities
YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED A DRIVERS LICENCE TO WORK HERE. MANDATORY.
- Establish the layout and design of fences
- Dig post holes and mix cement for installation
- Install and level the posts
- Cut and install fence rails, caps and boards
- Attach/build panels
Fence Installer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Carpentry and construction experience
- Skills with both hand and power tools
- Forklift experience and licensure preferred
- Physical strength and stamina
- Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Problem solving
- Ability to push/pull/lift 75lbs
- Valid driver's licence

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
