Schedule: Full-time | Day & Evening Shifts | 32–40 hours per week
Job Overview
Pace Processing is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods, supporting warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, forklift operation, and inventory management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
- Load and unload products using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required.
- Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking orders accurately using order pickers and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring compliance with packaging standards
- Organize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of goods
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Support warehouse distribution operations to optimize order fulfillment processes
- Follow safety protocols during all loading, unloading, and storage activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse management preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, order picking, and inventory control processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory counts
- Physical ability to load & unload heavy items, stand for extended periods, and walk within large warehouse facilities
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Basic computer skills for data entry and system updates
- Reliable team player with good communication skills
Compensation
- Starting wage: $23.00 per hour
- Overtime paid in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Schedule
- Full-time
- Must be available to work between Sunday and Saturday based on operational requirements
- Day and Evening shifts available.
- 32 - 40 hours per week
- Overtime available during busy periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices
