Bradford Facility For Industrial Millwright
The candidate will be tasked troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues. In addition you will also work on new equipment installs and tear-down/re-build jobs. An ideal candidate will have a strong problem solving ability, mechanical aptitude and the ability to excel in a time-sensitive environment. You will be trained on all necessary aspects of the job.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Install, align, dismantle and remove mechanical equipment on vehicles, such as pumps, hoses, compressors, engines, tanks, according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Perform service work on existing equipment including tear-downs and rebuilding
- Diagnose customer issues over the phone
- Estimate time, materials and costs associated with work to be performed
- Travel to other Spectra plants as required to perform PM and work on projects
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Skill Development
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
- Basic electrical drawings
- Hydraulic schematics
- CAD bill of materials for machinery builds
- Fluid processing diagrams
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Ability to operate various power tools to assemble, cut, and sand components
- Keen attention to detail and tidiness
- Examine end product to ensure it meets quality standards and is aesthetically
