Join our dynamic team as a Wash & Fold Coin Laundry Attendant, delivering clean, fresh laundry and superior customer service to our valued clientss! In this role, you'll ensure every item is expertly washed, folded, and ready for pickup. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain a sparkling clean environment while providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
1. Operate laundry machines efficiently, ensuring proper loading, washing, drying, and folding of customer laundry items
2. Counter duties including, but not limited to:
- Sell and record retail sales of laundry products
- Receive, weigh and enter details in tracking system
- Receive and process payments
3. Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat, including washing stations, folding tables, and washroom
4. Assist customers with their laundry needs in a friendly and professional manner
5. Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly
6. Follow safety protocols and ensure all cleaning supplies are used responsibly
7. Manage the flow of laundry items to meet turnaround times and customer expectations
8. Support inventory management by restocking supplies such as detergents and folding materials as needed
Ideal Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, and folding techniques
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure each item is properly cleaned and folded
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and bending comfortably
- Basic familiarity with cleaning equipment and safety procedures
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
