We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant. This position is based out of our facilities in Nanaimo, BC. This is a full-time role – Monday to Friday, from 8:00AM – 4:30PM. The Junior Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable support
- Accounts receivable support
- G/L Account reconciliations
- Bank Reconciliations
- Federal and provincial tax filings
- Assisting with month end adjusting entries and financial statement preparation

Experience and Qualifications:
- A technical diploma or bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation an advantage.
- A minimum of two years’ experience with full cycle accounting
- Excellent communication skills across a broad range of customers and teammates
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities or challenges
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with an attention to detail
