We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. (2nd year - Journeymen) The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical expertise, with a focus on maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and agricultural equipment. This role requires a positive approach to troubleshooting and daily operations. Preventive maintenance and ensuring optimal operation of equipment & trucks are critical to the position. Candidates should have experience with agricultural equipment or trucking fleets. (Class 1 or 3 is a strong asset but not required). Strong focus on teamwork and keeping operations moving. Ability to work extended hours & some weekends. Self-starter who can work independently in field/team environments.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment & trucks daily.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Maintain and repair systems involving low-voltage controls and electrical components.
- Operate and calibrate equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including low voltage)
- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Mechanical ability with hydraulics, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service within internal departments.
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial environments is essential.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
