JJob description:
Lyndhurst Golf Club is seeking a customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to assist with
sales, inventory, and customer service. You will sell golf equipment, apparel, and
accessories, while maintaining a clean and organized pro shop. Experience in retail is
helpful but not mandatory. A valid Smart Serve Certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities:
● Greet and assist customers, providing product recommendations and excellent
service.
● Process sales transactions (cash, credit, gift cards) accurately.
● Maintain shop appearance and stock inventory as needed.
● Handle customer inquiries, returns, exchanges, and special orders.
● Ensure accurate pricing and participate in promotions.
● Keep the pro shop clean and presentable at all times.
● Collaborate with staff for smooth operations across the course.
Qualifications:
● Strong communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
● Valid Smart Serve Certificate (required).
● Basic knowledge of golf is helpful but not required.
● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
