Working as a Renewal Specialist means you're a valued member of our Proposal Development and Sales Support team. This is an exceptional opportunity to turn your ideas into action in a dynamic culture and entrepreneurial sales environment. We'll look to you and your strategic, well-thought-out and researched responses to proposal documents to generate wins, increase sales and maximize company revenue.
Key areas of concentration include request for tender (RFT), request for proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI), and request for quotation (RFQ) for Cisco products.
What you'll do:
Read reports, SOWs, RFPs, RFIs, and other customer documents and summarizes the main points and areas of concern.
Gather information from stakeholders to determine the value and viability of opportunities.
Score, logs, and tracks customer requests.
Distribute and assigns projects.
Maintain calendars and timelines.
Ensure accuracy in essential communications and notifications.
Follow up with, and provides feedback to, sales stakeholders regarding status of proposals and contract reviews.
Update tracking database.
What you will need to succeed
Bachelor's Degree or 1 year of equivalent work experience
Other Required Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Abilities to work independently and to manage time effectively.
Effective communication skills with an appreciation for the appropriate ways to interact with managers, coworkers, customers and vendors.
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience with and understanding of the proposal process and general contract principles.
