*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Aid patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising physiotherapist
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Educate patients on exercises and activities to be performed at home
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Certification or diploma in Physiotherapy Assistance is a plus
