- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to execute recipes with precision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a small team
- Passion for quality and pride in your craft
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset, demonstrating an understanding of kitchen operations.
- A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake daily/weekly to consistent standards
- Manage dough preparation, scaling, and portioning with precision
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and prep as needed
- Contribute ideas for new flavours or refinements — creativity is welcome
- Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations and safety standards during food preparation and serving.
- Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service
- Package baked goods and prepare orders.
- Restock display cases and keep products looking fresh and organized.
- Assist in packaging baked goods for sale, ensuring products are presented attractively and securely.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations, including assisting with cooking tasks when necessary.
