About the Role
Our client, a leading facial plastic surgery practice, is seeking a highly professional and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join their growing team. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for patients, guiding them through their surgical or non-surgical journey with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The Patient Care Coordinator is central to creating a welcoming, supportive environment and ensuring each patient feels cared for, well-informed, and confident in their decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for patients from initial inquiry to post-procedure follow-up.
- Schedule consultations, treatments, and surgeries while managing physician calendars.
- Provide patients with detailed information regarding procedures, treatment options, pre- and post-operative instructions, and financial estimates.
Education & Patient Experience
- Support patients in understanding treatment options and ensure informed decision-making.
- Coordinate patient education materials, procedure packets, and follow-up resources.
- Deliver a concierge-level patient experience at all touchpoints.
Administrative & Clinical Support
- Maintain accurate patient records, consents, and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Facilitate communication between physicians, clinical staff, and patients.
- Assist with billing coordination, quotes, and payment collection for cosmetic services.
- Track patient outcomes and satisfaction to support practice growth and quality initiatives.
Business Development Support
- Participate in promotional events, patient seminars, and open houses as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and administrative team to manage patient leads and ensure timely follow-up.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a patient-facing or client care role within a medical or surgical practice.
- Experience in cosmetic surgery, dermatology, or other private-pay surgical specialties is a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of EMR systems and comfort with technology (scheduling platforms, CRM tools, etc.).
- High attention to detail, discretion, and patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB T2S 2S7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
